General & Business Rules:
iBurst
- All packages come with 1 free email address/mailbox with anti-virus and anti
spam protection.
- All prices are VAT Inclusive.
- Hardware accessories (e.g. iPanel antenna, Omni antenna, etc.) are available per quotation.
- All contracts have a once off R250 admin fee.
- Pricing excludes delivery and installation.
- Data carried over to the following month will be limited to the monthly data allocation for which the customer has signed up, and/or the amount of any Bandwidth Booster purchased by the customer in that month.
- Subscribers upon reaching their data limit/cap for the month, will either be throttled (slowed to a maximum of 64 kbps) or capped (disconnected) depending on their package. Subscribers on a KickStart or Playa package will be capped, while subscribers on a Giga package or higher will be throttled. Where a subscriber is throttled or capped, the subscriber will be required to top up with Bandwidth Booster in order to continue normal service.
- Data transfer rates are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.
- Static IP is available on all iBurst Wireless packages regardless of which modem is selected. Monthly fee is R199.
- NoWire Standard Terms and Conditions will apply and the Subscriber must
comply with RICA requirements. The Subscriber is hereby advised that
he/she/it will be personally liable for not complying .
HSDPA
- NoWire credit vetting policies to apply.
- Subscriber will be billed for volume of data sent and received. This will include data generated due to viruses, spyware and spam.
- All prices are VAT Inclusive.
- Unused data bundles will expire at month end for HSDPA.
- Subscribers will be subject to applicable Pay-per-use rates once data bundles have been depleted/utilised. These are rounded off to the nearest cent.
- SMS Messages are billed at standard rates.
- Data transfer rates are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability.
- Utilisation of data is billed in units where each unit equals 1 byte.
- Bundles and Tariffs only apply to standard APNs (Access Point Node).
- Tariffs do not apply to data roaming.
- Subscribers are able to purchase Boosters as outlined above on account.
- HSDPA Boosters expire 30 days after purchase.
- Upward Package Migrations (to a contract of higher value utilising the same technology) within the contract will be allowed – 1 month calendar notice will be required. Downward Package migrations will however be subject to
package Migration fees.
- Standard Cancellation fees and Terms & Conditions to apply for early termination of contracts.
- Technology Conversions from one HSDPA network to another or to any other medium will not be permitted.
- NoWire will arrange for the distribution of the SIMs and Modems to subscribers within 48 (business Hours)
- SIMs will however not be activated but will require subscriber to call in to activate - due to security reasons this will be done during office hours.
- An iBurst username will be supplied which should be utilised to access the iBurst website - functionality will be enhanced periodically for iBurst HSDPA subscribers.
- International Roaming will be activated on request and will be subject to approval and a deposit of R12 000.
